The lunch menu is souper good value! The tomato soup is not to be missed. The staff are souper friendly and all in a great location. If I lived here I would be a regular.

We went for the Nepalese dishes without meat or fish and it was lovely. Not tailored to the normal western tourists, the spices were excellent: peppers, garlic and tradional spices we know from India. Great food and a treat here were bland or non vegetarian cuisine rules the streets.

We have been eating at Guru for the past year on a regular basis. The food is excellent every time. My wife and I love the chicken makhani dish. The staff are brilliant and always great hosts, especially the young gentleman who is working each time we visit! Highly recommended!

Simply excellent experience. Best butter chicken and Chicken Korma I've ever eaten. A diverse cross menue of Nepaleese & Indian dishes. A must try when U are in SoHo - Hong Kong

Good flavours and interesting menu options makes Guru worth a visit. Added to this, use of lighter fats makes this an Indian experience you can leave and continue your evening drinks

First of all, I enjoyed the Lunch at Guru Restaurant. It is a nice little place, and if (as in my case) the weather allows, sit outside and enjoy people watching during your lunch. Food was good, good value for money, service friendly and mainly attentive. Tomato soup was very tasty with a twist of spice. Main course was served... More

A small Indian-Nepal restaurant in the middle of Hong Kong. As one of the options, set lunch menus from 88 to 100 HKD. Good testy food, Nepaly-style service with a cordial smile. Recommended.

Went there to celebrate my hubby and as always, found the flavours really good but really hate that the quality of the chicken/beef is always full of fat or tendons.. I wish they cleaned their meat better. The restaurant has a good ambience and the service is really good. The prices are reasonable. Its a good place to have some... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
