Small, small tables, at night with the sound of the neighbour cafe, fortunately with a good DJ. It could have a much better decoration and presentation... The food was great home cooking, with balance, taste, lots of taste. The Tom Yum Kung was great and the yellow curry with chicken amazing (I asked spicy). Good price / quality, the service... More

There's no gluten free option from the menu , but if you talk to the chef (fluent Thai/Cantonese) about what you can/can't eat, they'd be more than happy to help. Food was amazing , and it's not as expensive as I thought. Staffs are friendly , very excellent efficient. Will definitely come here again!

Food was extremely tasty... quick service in an extremely casual environment. Small and cosy space but who cares when the food is so delicious - we will be back.

This restaurant was recommended by trip advisor so I just have to give it a try. Thai farmer located in wanchai, a small restaurant probably less than 50 seats which serves thai food. I love thai food because it's rich in flavors and most of all, spicy! The menu is quite variant and the portion is okay. The taste is... More

Always the place I go to if I want to eat Thai foods. The curry, papaya salad, skewers... my favourites!

Uninspired service raises never appetite. Ordered some Thai classic dishes and noted short this is not a favorite stop. The Tom Yum soup with OK balance, but the prawns were almost invisible.

For a low key, fun meal we found the Thai Farmer in Wan Chai. The decor is very "cafe" rather than restaurant. To improve further, the waiting staff need to be more friendly. Surly & brisk are phrases that spring to mind. The food made up for it though!

Frankly speaking I want to start with the worst: The toilet is only for skinny men.. But the food is very authentic, staff real Thai and very friendly. After long time came here again, and already feel at home, even the Servants remember me, give some recommendations and make my stay a very nice event.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
