Since we went for a business meeting, we had a huge variety of dishes, but the roosted pork is really good, and also the order of meat that is over a vegetables bed is really good.

Dim Sum is served during lunch time, and we thought it relatively inexpensive. You can choose some dishes from ready to serve dishes at one counter, just bring your meal ticket to have it stamped, or order from their dimsum menu. Quality is acceptable.

When you step into this huge restaurant you're struck by the 'over-the-top' decor and the sheer mass of people - almost all Chinese which was a good sign. The dim sums we ordered were superb but the hero of the meal was the crackling belly pork. I'm surprised that there are so few reviews on TripAdvisor. Try it the next... More

V good price. It's a noisy and cheerful place that serves good dim sum in the mornings. Lots of regulars here. Do try their egg tarts (which is super yums), crispy fried soft shell crab, siew mai (pork dumplings), century egg porridge (must try!) and char siew bao (steamed Pork buns). These were only some of those that I tried.... More

We had an afternoon dimsum at East Lake Seafood Restaurant. The place was full. We had to wait for a few minutes before we got a table. We ordered seafood fried noodle, steamed minced pork dumpling (Shanghai style), steamed fish snout with black bean sauce, pan fried bean curd roll with shrimps, steamed rice flour roll filled with shrimps, and... Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
