Dimdim sum was very near to our hotel so we went there everyday for breakfast during our stay at Wan Chai. Its also just 5mins walk to Causeway MTR. Nice hot dim sum. Serves very fast. Price is OK. HIghly recommended !

This place is as good as any of the top names associated with Dim Sum in Hong Kong. Great choice - great food at very reasonable prices. It is amazing you can get food like this for this kind of price. The restaurant has a bit of ambiance to it although small. After you fill in your order you will... More

Value for money dim sum.. except that the food comes very fast, so if you order so many at one go, you may not have space on your very small table. LOL.

Reasonably priced dim sum for an above average made dim sum. For a decent dinner of HKD 200 for two adults and two children, you can't get this elsewhere in the Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore. It's opened till midnight, so if u need some steamy snacks for supper, this is the place to go to.

Not the tastiest dim sums and spring-rolls, I've ever eaten, maybe wrong choice of dishes. Spring-rolls sauce was quite mayonese style

Going into Wan Chai DimDimSum at 12 noon on a Tuesday, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt lined up out the door. Seems like we best the lunch rush! Sitting on a share table (as is common in Hong Kong), the waiter handed me an order sheet and a pen. Looking it over, I realized that my Chinese reading... More

Third dim sum we went to in HK after Dim Sum Square and Tim Ho Wan which were both excellent. Unfortunately Dim Dim Sum did not live up to its hype and disappointed. Of five plates ordered only the har gaw (shrimp dumpling) was at the level expected. Deep fried spring rolls had a kind of Thousand Islands filling that... More

Eat dim sum! Something that I've never really seen in the UK is proper dim sum, so an evening meal here while visiting HK was definitely on the cards. The shop is small and a little cramped but the dim sum are delicious

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
