Sweet Dynasty (糖朝) was one of favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. However in my recent visit, even the signature dishes like Tau Fu Fa (Chinese tofu dessert) & pork liver porridge were extremely disappointed. The level of customer service also declined. I don't think I'll ever visit this restaurant again.

We couldn't find the restaurant on the first night we were in HK but we came back and try to find it again our on last night there. We're quite disappointed with foods.. foods were just so-so.. not that bad but not worth the price. Anyway, some staffs were friendly and kind. I like the mango smoothie there.. umm and... More

Here right now on new year's eve for dinner. Waited around 15 minutes for the host to send us down for our table. Made our orders promptly and our dim sum orders came in less than 5 minutes. We had the XO rice rolls which is really good and had really delicious har gao and siew mai. Most of the... More

We dined here right at mid-day, mid-week, and the place was surprisingly empty (I would have thought there'd be a lunch crowd). The food was excellent. On previous occasions we've sampled other dishes, but on this particular visit we had the steamed beef meatballs (dim sum), Shrimp and Pork Liver shumai (dim sum), steamed shrimp and vegetable dumplings (dim sum),... As we have an early dinner, we tried this place foe desserts which is actually nearby our hotel. The desserts were served with high standard, not too sweet, just nice to consume with delight. Can see lots of crowd coming in while eating inside the shop even at night time after 10plus.

Considering this is an award winning restaurant that tries to attract foreign tourists, the English on the menu is extremely misleading.

Got into that restaurant while cruising the streets in TST. Menu is dense but all I wanted was dim sum. Got 6 dim sums and 3 beef balls with tea and ended up with a tab close to 200HKD. The dim sum were not exceptional and over priced. They bring you hot tea right away but be aware it's not... More

It offered numerous types of Congee which is a favorite food of the Asian. This place was popular with visitors from Thailand and other Asian countries. Congee would be great for breakfast, brunch and late dinner. We frequently visited this place. Need to be there early before the crowd arrived. My wife's favorite would be the place's signature Congee dish,... More
