Friendly front of house and a good interior makes the experience enjoyable despite looking out onto blocks of flats and air conditioners - all too close !

We dined at Papa Razzi in June after a long day and a foot massage in a nearby parlour. We were hungry and there is a line of restaurants and bars all along Knutsford Terrace so we had a bit of trouble deciding. Luckily for us we chose Papa Razzi and were able to get a seat at the front... More

Calling it Italian food is really a huge mistake. Environement dirty and decadent, food lousy and not fresh, pasta full of cream to hide the poor taste. Bread no comment. Soups inedible. Vegetable tasteless. Service bored and vague. To cross over it and hope for a quick refresh of the business mission.

At first the ambient is good, service ok, however if you need to use the restroom you will never want to have a meal in this restaurant.

We have eaten Italian food all over the planet, including a load in Italy. I have to say, and those or your who read my reviews will know I take no prisoners, that this little restaurant in Knutsford Terrace is one of the finest that we have ever eaten in. The food is fresh and the pasta outstanding. The staff... More

The restaurant has a nice Italian themed atmosphere, professional service and quite good food. It's not inexpensive, but competetive with its neighbours.

We actually visited this restaurant all three night as we liked the food. Good choice of food, I had black cod and my husband had steak, both were well presented and cooked to perfection. The service was good even though it was busy. It was air conditioned inside which we were grateful of. The rose wine was nice, but very... More

This is not a real Italian Restaurant though the food is good. The Carpaccio was decent and presented correctly, the parmesan did not have a great taste but the meat was good. The Penne with sausage were good thanks to the abundant chili, at the end this was the predominant taste, the sausages were not particularly tasty. The saltimbocca a... More

Were positively surprised of this restaurant specialized in Italian food. Good service, nice waitresses with sense of humour, location good in "bar street", very atmospheric restaurant at night time! Food was excellent, we had pissa, lasagne and chicken and vegetarian pasta. All of them were delicious! We were really pleased and satisfied for dining and happily forwarded our way to... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
