Second visit to this after renovation last year or so. Food is good beside there are room of improvement. Lots of well alert service staff, rather casual ambience. Relax and comfort seating zone to hang out with friends. Will come back!

Good place, convenient to reach simply by MTR. A very big restaurant. Food are tasteful and not expensive. Nice truffle/mushroom salad, seafood risotto in general portion and well done cook. All pizzas are thin one, easy to eat. Many choice for dessert. 4 of us ordered a bit ice-cream bowl, it is a big glass with four different ice-cream +... More

Stumbled on this restaurant for a quick lunch as I was in the area. I ordered the set lunch at $98 so shouldn't expect a lot. Salad was overdressed but at least there was some spinach and not all iceberg. Linguine (with tomato clam sauce) was over-cooked, clams were very chewy but thankfully sand-free. Parmesan cheese was the wrong type... More

The menu was actually better before with its generous servings of cannelloni etc.... The transformation to more 'nouvelle cuisine' style small portions of mushroom penne pasta with a drop rather than a drizzle of truffle oil, is not necessarily a welcome innovation at all. The decor's transformation from Chicago kitsch with lithographs of Sinatra and Capone etc... to New York... More

This restaurant is more American Italian, than Italian. It is also owned by Dan Ryans. Which explains why the food is US style Italian. Have eaten there a few times by invitation only, and would not go there as a choice. Had one Chicken dish that was not cooked properly. Also takes too long for food to arrive. If you... More

I was lucky enough to be treated to lunch here by my new boss and was really impressed. There is a stereotype in the West that Asian countries butcher Euro-cuisine (as I'm sure we do theirs) but this was very much not the case here. Bread served with oil and balsamic vinegar was good; the onion soup starter quite tasty.... More

My husband wanted Italian in Hong Kong so off we went. I need to get gluten free and they had a rather large selection on a special menu for me. Silly complaint but the food portions were so big it was a waste of food. My husband had the salmon dish and it could of feed 3 people it was... More

Over the years, I found Amaroni’s a reliable restaurant with good portion and appropriately cooked dishes. The seatings are comfortable. Reservations is recommended, particularly for dinner. The downside is their menu had remained almost identical for over 10 years! Comparatively, the quality you're getting is often superior than many other restaurants.

Portions here are made for sharing. Good place for larger parties, like birthdays or re-unions. Good rosemary chicken and pasta meatballs. Lighting a little too low. Probably vane attempt to keep the noise down.

This restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Was decorated very tastefully which really added to the ambience. The meals were all very tasty and the servings were the largest I have ever seen. My sons's serve of rigatoni would have fed a family of four! Was rather pricey though for a restaurant located in a shopping centre, four mains,... More
