If you are overloaded with all the choices just come to Wang Fu and get to noodles with some dumplings. Super cheap and you don't leave feeling hungry. Check for the daily specials. This is the place to come for simple no fuss Beijing style dumplings.

As per the title, great dumplings and hot & sour soup. My girlfriend enjoyed the fried veggies with rice. Good price too. I would recommend, but a recurring theme with HK is 'Michelin recommended ' which they seem to band around too easily. Good lunch spot in a nice central location.

Cheap, good food, no fuss. Dumplings here are great. We ate 2 x plates of 10 dumplings and a noodle soup between 3 of us for lunch and were stuffed for the rest of the day. Very tasty.

Its a tiny place with at best 20-25 covers. Its main thing is its extensive selection of hand made dumplingsm with varied fillings, available steamed and fried. Plus a small menu of other items, braised aubergine, jellyfish and their AMAZING dan dan mein ( noodles) which are cold noodles with hot spicy minced pork served hot on them with fine... More

Basic decor, homemade dumplings and cold dishes. A great alternative to the various "cookie cutter" outlets nearby. Reliable, cheerful consistent.

Was attracted to this due to the initial reason that the next door Maks Eatery was closed and that the signs on the door says it had been listed on the Michelin Guide before. Went in to try the Pork Ribs rice, The Mince Pork Cold Noodle and the Scallop Dumplings. The Pork ribs was tender and well seasoned and... More

I had the dumplings with noodles and it was so delicious. The food was fresh and not too salty or oily.

This can hardly be considered fine-dining, with limited space, plastic seats and a tray of pigs' ears taking up the table next to us but when the food is this tasty at THIS price, that simply does not matter. A friend and I got through 3 plates of different kinds of dumplings (they come in tens; the combination of prawn,... More

This was our first attempt at eating and ordering a meal in Hing Kong. Very easy to understand menu, good, tasty food and very friendly. You may have to share a table as it's very busy but the who shared with us gave me a lesson on using chopsticks. Very cheap

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
