I know it is odd to go to HK and eat Pizza but it is quick, easy and cheap after a long day. We actually ate here 3 times (although the bellinis were a big drawcard for us). Crab pasta was absolutely delicious and the Margerita(?) Pizza with tomato and fresh mozzarella the best

Went to the Pizza Express on Wellington street with my family. Prices have been hiked and the service has dropped considerably. Very disappointing.

This was actually better than home! Really thin and crispy American Hottest. Good manager and great staff. Thoroughly recommended. This is the new location in Central.

Pizza Express is located in Hong Kong's Central district. We stopped in for lunch. The service was very good and the staff friendly. I ordered the lasagne, which came piping hot in a cast iron skillet. The lasagne was delicious. We also ordered two ten inch pizzas which were also delicious. We also stayed for dessert. I had the cheesecake... More

Pizza express is a chain restaurant that can be found in the touristy places around Hong Kong - there is also one in Harbour City and the airport. This is a great stop if you want a break from the delicious Chinese food, and makes a decent gourmet pizza.

Nicely decorated Pizza Express new joint in HK. I usually eat at the restaurant in HK airport and I was quite happy to see that one opened near my office and hotel. Well, menu is the same, food is the same, taste the same and I simply like it.

I think it is quite a good choice if you don't want anything local or don't want to spend a fortune. I can't say the pizza was the best, but in general the food was good. The service was very nice, not al staff spoke English though.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
