This is a must for anyone coming to Hong Kong. The afternoon tea is wonderful even if a bit expensive. You only live once so splurge on it. If you are guest at the hotel you do not have to stand in line are are seated immediately.

The best place to view the whole of hk from above. And the best tea can only found to this place. I was so lucky and it was a memorable experienced dining in here together with my press friend from advertising in hongkong. The service was good, staff so much friendly and the dishes so much perfect which what am... More

We felt a little let down by the high tea, which was not as good or as grand as before. We were lucky to get a table at the first seating, queuing for 15 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes or so. Orders were taken after ten minutes and the food arrived about 20 minutes later. There were four... More

We had read of long queues to get in however we arrived at 4 and were ushered straight in and while it was busy there were free tables and we also weren't under any pressure to leave by 6. High tea for two is delicious -we would have preferred more savoury dishes but everything was very fresh. We added a... More

The high tea is a pricey experience (especially if you add a glass of champagne) but is worth doing as a once-off. The lobby is a stunning space and the orchestra music complements it perfectly. The food was delicious, although it is heavy on the sweet side. They should swap out some of the sweets for a couple more savoury... More

Afternoon tea at the Peninsula was on my to-do list based on reviews and its long standing reputation. We ended up disappointed, as reputation alone is not enough to justify mediocre food and the high price tag. With its no reservations policy we came ready to queue and tried to arrive early, by 145pm. There were at least 25 people... More

Had a business meeting during the tea time. Great service, beautiful setting and tasty food and drinks. Very classy place for business meetings or just to enjoy yourself and the beautiful Peninsula. Its pricy, but totally worth it.

This is probably the best place for scones in Hong Kong but the waiting line to get a table is atrocious. We came on a weekday at 1.30pm but have to wait for more than 1.5 hours before our turn. Nonetheless it was worth waiting as the pastries did not disappoint and were artfully crafted.

When I was last in Hong Kong we decided to have afternoon tea at the Peninsula. This is a very popular thing to do which meant we waited in line for over 60 mins on a Friday afternoon. The Peninsula is of course a very historic and luxurious hotel so it is worth popping in to see the lobby. As... More
