I enjoyed the food very much. Food was bit spicier than I thought Chinese food could be. Although they did indicate the heat level by the number of chilis by each dish. Great service, prompt and attentive.

Wonderful Sichuan restaurant at Time Square, Causeway Bay. I love the fish filet in chilli oil, typical Sichuan style. Surprisingly, you can have a table with reservation during lunch hours.

Absolutely delicious Sichuan food. Wide variety of choices makes choosing a bit difficult as everything sounds delicious and is.

Up there with some of the best Sichuan restaurants. The service was very efficient and the staff very friendly. Ordered their 'Sichuan 🌶 broth meat noodles' n wasn't disappointed one bit! The food hit the spot n if not for the massive Macha soft serve I'd indulged in earlier, would have definitely tried their Sichuan pepper vanilla ice cream for... More

I'm always traveling and looking for good food. I've been in this restaurant first time around two years ago and since then, whenever you'll ask me which restaurant is my number one restaurant I'd definitely say Yun Yan in Hong Kong and my favourite dish is the mandarins steamed fish with the crispy tofu on top of it. A must... More

We truly enjoyed our dinner at Yun Yan Sichuan Times Sqaure on last Tue with a group of friends. The foods were so delicious - especially the Spicy Black Chicken Cold Dish; the tasty Mandarin Fish Slices; the glamarous Soup Pot with assorted meats, veggies & tofu and the tasty Glutinous Walnut Cake! So yummy that I am actually feeling... More

Quite expensive but very tasty food. You can expect this dining in the Times Square plaza however! Personally I would not return. We had Mandarin fish which was a very large serving and quite tasty. As other reviewers mentioned, the chilli chicken is tasty but there is a lot of bone. Excellent Sichuan pepper flavour.

Food was eatable but nothing was outstanding. They were all lacking spices or flavor in general. The chicken in stone pot was soaking in oil it was stomach churning. Service was non-existence. It was slow and constantly being ignored, threw plates around, not refilling the tea pot, hard to get attention and we were given our bill without asking for... More

No one at the front counter of the restaurant and the servers inside ignore you. I waited for a whole 3 minutes before 1 of them casually beckoned me in. I was thinking of turning around and walking off but decided to still try the food The dishes in general are expensive , so not really value for money I... More

Some delicious choices - hot and sour soup, Fried chicken cubes with dry red chillies (a Sichuan favorite). So much more I wanted to try...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
