Service; absolutely excellent - understated, attentive, and experienced. The food was great, and often there were theatrical touches that created moments for the waiters to engage and present the various dishes. There's also a good amount of space between tables; we found it was the...More

I had the lobster bisque and sea bass for lunch. The soup was excellent but not as spectacular as the entree. The sea bass was brought to the serving table while it sat on a slab of salt. It is skinned and placed gently on...More

First time eating at the Mandarin Grill & Bar. Read a lot of good reviews about the food and service. Truly not disappointing. Very 'Englsh' old world service though marred by the staff less than good pronunciation. Other than that, no complaint really. Had lobster...More

The Mandarin Oriental should not be confused with the Landmark Oriental. The former is often calledthe "old" Oriental but it is far from old. Try a pre dinner drink at the Captains Bar on the ground level first and then dinner in the Grill. The...More

This is the kind of restaurant you expect to be a Michelin star, not one but deserves even 2 stars. The meals are well balanced, perfectly presented and the right portions. What we most appreciate was the creative way the dishes were served. This is...More

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

Overseen by Executive Chef Robin Zavou, the Mandarin Grill + Bar is proud to have retained its Michelin star for the sixth year running. Using the finest organic ingredients and seasonally inspired produce, we offer an exciting interpretation of grill classics with a dash of progressive gastronomy. Such acclaimed cuisine requires an equally stunning setting and our Sir Terence Conran-designed space never fails to impress. Overlooking Statue Square and Chater Garden, decor is wonderfully vibrant with a moulded scallop-inspired ceiling, Gerard D'A Henderson paintings and a central banquette upon which a selection of stunning white lily floral arrangements are displayed.
