The first time I went to the Mandarin Grill 4 years ago I had not made a reservation, and was only visiting Hong Kong, but managed to get a table and enjoyed a delicious meal. The second time was 3 or 4 months later after...More

Super attentive service in a wonderful location with great food. Tables are well spaced out with a relaxed ambience. A meal to savour and catch up for business or with old friends.

This was a special anniversary dinner and the staff went all out with superb service, advice and a treat to spoil us. We chose a degustation menu and were blown away with the quality, presentation and cleverness of each dish. When I booked I was...More

Best food I have eaten in Hong Kong but comes at a steep price. Service is second to none. The food has all of the usual Western suspects but with a twist. The presentation is imaginative but does not detract from the quality of food....More

A+ all round. Very comfortable and wide chairs. A rarity these days. Our 3 hour birthday dinner was effortless.

I have been to many of Hong Kong's finest restaurants including Caprice and Robuchon and Im surprised that the Mandarin Grill is not ranked higher here on Trip Advisor. This is Hong Kong's best restaurant by far! The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is lovely,...More

I can start writing and keep writing. Perhaps the only Michelin star i visited and i had the wooow factor with the food. Everything was exceptional, starting with the hostess passing by the food and the excellent Chateau Ksara 3rd millenum wine that the Sommelier...More

The Mandarin Grill is an excellent choice for business breakfast meeting, or occasional classy breakfasts to treat your friends or yourself. The decor is simple elegant. The staff were very attentive and professional. I always feel like I can spend the entire morning there.

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

The restaurant is proud to have retained its Michelin star for the eighth year running. Using the finest organic ingredients and seasonally inspired produce, we offer an exciting, fresh interpretation of grill classics. Such acclaimed cuisine requires an equally stunning setting and our Sir Terence Conran-designed space never fails to impress. Overlooking Statue Square and Chater Garden, décor is wonderfully vibrant with a moulded scallop-inspired ceiling, Gerard D’A Henderson paintings and a central banquette. Child policy: Children aged 6 years or above are welcome. Dress code: Smart-casual attire. We request that guests refrain from wearing shorts (of any length), torn jeans, sportswear, singlets, collarless T-shirts, flip flops and gentlemen's sandals.
