The one and only place in Hong Kong to come to for your South African fix! Dolla and her team are passionate about their food and service. We stayed a night next to the restaurant and had a lovely breakfast at the Stoep, listening to the waves roll in and the world go by!

Simply put, Dolla serves wonderful food. There are a number of traditional South African favourites as well as a large range of other cuisines to suite all palates at affordable prices. Dolla is a convivial host in a sheltered open air venue very close to the beach of which there is an adequate view. It is well worth a visit.

Dropped into on Sunday with friends and family and really enjoyed the experience. The surrounding where beautiful with ponds and fish surround the tables. The food was very nice and a good selection of beers , wines available too. The location is great and a just a short walk away from the beech.

A lovely family lunch. The food is delicious particularly the Boerewors, biltong salad and the fresh bread and dips. Just keep walking past all the other restaurants until you reach The Stoep!

I went there for the 2nd time and it won't be the last time. Great food - just right for taste butts. The freshly home made bread and the hummus were the best I had for a long time. And it's not overly expensive in comparison with other places. Bus no 1 stops very close to the beach. But if... More

This was our first time at Stoep and we will definitely come back again. Every thing right from the food, the service, the view and our bill for the amount we ate, was perfect. We ordered one of their dips with garlic bread, the south african sausage, garlic prawns and Peri Peri prawns, 2 Savanna ciders, 2 beers and 2... More

I ordered the Biltong salad the other day during a very hot and balmy day. This is a new dish with sliced cherry tomato and rocket salad with marinated chick peas, topped with sliced cheese and biltong meat! A light but satisfying dish for the summer months! A must!

Just when I started loving the rut I was in (Which I'm prone to when it comes to food) Dolla brings a series of delicious new items to awaken your appetite Now I'm in love - tenderloin beef cooked to perfection crisp and succulent shell wot the bacon wrap and a gorgeous pink inside that is true fresh beef Keep... The Stoep only moved 50m along the beach from it's original location, but unfortunately it's no longer "on the beach" but just far enough back to make a difference. The food is the same - focused on barbecue so not great for veggies like me - with just enough to keep me happy, and the ambiance is nice if not... More
