The atmosphere were vintage-y, and the view from your seat was great. Was there when Chinese New Year and they had three barongsai going around the seats. Pricey yet acceptable since it was a fine dining. However the taste was not so Indonesian (had already been adjusted with Western tastebud).

We visited during the day. The entrance is ordinary until you enter the cafe. You need to head upstairs where your first impression is will be a lasting one. The walls are adorned with numerous framed photos and artistic drawings. The cafe has a fantastic atmosphere and almost an 'old world charm'. The menu is mid-range to expensive but you... More

Location is great for people watching. Food is ordinary and expensive for what you get.Go to second floor seating for great view of the square.

Walking old Batavia you should go there. Variety of local food of high quality, bit more expensive than elsewhere but dishes are pretty big, I took salad and main dish and salad alone will be enough for lunch. Take a table on second floor with the a view to a square.

Forget the food, forget the service but make sure to immerse yourself with the surrounding and each piece inside this aesthetically and historically wnroching restaurant. If you love antiques and classic pieces of art, this is nirvana. Even going to the bathroom will take time as you check each art piece inside - not for anything else.

The restaurant has nice atmosphere of old time. The ground floor is smoking area, while the non smoking area are above. The decorations, pictures on the wall and even in the bathroom are nice The food price is a bit high and the taste is not that special. However, the atmosphere is the best.

This is a charming building with beautiful wood interiors. The food is good and the service is good. A trip to the bathrooms is a must. We enjoyed lunch after seeing the wonderful puppets at the adjacent museum.

Ambiance is nice and it's good for tourists to escape the humid weather outside. The staff are friendly and attentive as well. The food is so so. I think some of the food was warmed up my microwave oven.

Thank zohei
