The staff are delightful. Daniel and Sandra and the rest are warm and welcoming. They take every care to ensure locals and expats alike are enjoying themselves. The ambience is charming, and the food is good. The place is popular on Saturdays with (loud!) live music. Quiet on Sunday. Attendance is moderate on other weekdays. Easily the best option in... We went there on a Saturday afternoon and had a few drinks and food. It was very pleasant. We have been there in the past but in the evening when it was far too smokey to stay for more than one drink.

The Cazbar is a smokey drinking hole in Jakarta's Mega Kuningan district. From the outside it looks like a girlie bar with its lurid neon sign but in reality it is a legitimate drinking establishment. There are two floors and a small outdoor area. The second floor often screens sports. The bottom floor is designed more for those who want... More

Dear Malarchy, Thank you for your feedback; we're happy to see that you're generally happy with Cazbar besides the smoke issue. On busy nights it can indeed get a bit extreme because of the high number of smokers. We're looking at the best solution to solve this. Once again, thank you for your input. Best regards, Jasper More

The special of the house - Nasi Goreng is definitely a must order.....both the chicken and beef (satay) were tender and juicy and well seasoned. I was very apprehensive ...a british style pub (which I don't fancy) and a wild variety of dishes which are not Indonesian.. but it's worth trying a few other items on the menu. The staff... More

In my last business trip to Jakarta, i stayed in JW Marriott and I had few hours to hang out before catching the return flight. Even considering Jakarta traffic i tried to search the area in the vicinity of 3-4 km but didn't find the satisfactory one so that's how i end in Cazbar. The food was quite good in... More

In the embassy & business area Mega Kuningan there’s a cazbar – well, a bar/resto called The Cazbar, at least. It’s over two floors, but still intimate enough, has pool table, darts and TVs, as well as a Dutch ambience (if you like Dutch-style bars, and who don’t?). The (pub) food is good (I love their lamb shank!), the bar... More

I've been to this place many times, mostly on weekends. The drinks are good and the price is not so expensive. And on Saturday night they have a classic rock performance that always make the house packed.. See you guys there.. 😊

A dark wood, english pub. Pretty standard Indonesian service, with a wide range of beverages. The meals are good though.

Cazbar is great for the business man that wants a quick but good lunch on weekdays. I do not like the place at night but during the day it is very good value for money and this is also a place that knows how to cater the Bule in town.... European Food on the menu combined with Indonesian Specialties also.... More
