Given that the calibre of service in the Hotel Borobudur is so subpar it should have come as no surprise that the staff at their restaurant was under trained. They did not provide enough anti pasta, bread or any butter. The main courses were served at different times causing the group to become disjointed as some finished their main course... More

Indonesia actually has quite a few Italian restaurants, certainly Jakarta, but at Bruschetta I felt for the first time in Indonesia a real Italian atmosphere. For me its all in the details, but from the chairs to the table covers, it is exactly what I expect when walking in Florence or a small Italian mountain village. Excellent. When eating at... More

If you want to try a nice pizza in Jakarta don't go anywhere else.. go here! Never ate such nice pizza even in Asia. Wood Oven baked, nice crust and simple pizza. Nice assortment of desserts as well, we tried Zabaione and creme brule which was very good. Very nice ambiance with Live Music. Before leaving we congratulated the chef... More

This restaurant was really superb. What a surprise finding authentic italian food at a very affordable price in Jakarta?!!? We had an abundant portion bruschette as the starter, as two mains we had a home made pasta with frutti di mare and home made gnocchi with duck meat ragu. Tiramisu is a classic you need to check at any restaurant... More

We visited this restaurant during our trip in Jakarta and it was a great surprise. I had a good pizza and my partner tried Lasagna, we felt really at home. Chef Riccardo was really friendly and he suggested us the best.

Finally a "Risotto ai Porcini" and a beef fillet very well done. Nice and authentic Italian food, engaged staff and a warm atmosphere. A great dining experience. Visited April 2017.

As Italian you are always doubting to enter in an Italian restaurant. First question , is the chef Italian!? Once we had confirmation then with the family we explore the menu. Kids as usual pizza but I was fascinated by home made gnocchi and my wife went for meat. Kids happy and parents super happy. Bravi, great food, we will... More

Wouldn't normally eat at a Western restaurant in an Asian city but was stuck in the hotel with work for several days and couldn't keep eating at the same two places (there's a Japanese and a Chinese restaurant in the Hotel as well). ordered the Pizza Bruschetta and was very pleased. The chef (a Roman) came out and chatted us... More
