Kembang Goela's location is a bit hidden: at a parking lot behind an old building. It's adjacent to McDonald's. What a contrast. The interior and ambience mimicks the old Indonesia (Java) during the colonial era. The food is also mixed from various parts of the country, including Dutch-influenced dishes. The 1-meter sausage is unique. The crispy beef dendeng was flavourful.... More

This restaurant is serving traditional cuisines, mostly from Java (Sundanese & Javanese). The ambient also sets to look like a traditional house with oldies furniture, ornaments and background music that sounds like from gramophone. We try some of foods and drinks : - Mauritje van Gambir - Tahu Telur Bledek - Mie Goreng - Ikan Gurame Goreng Kremes - Oseng... More

This restaurant is located in the center of the business area and it carries with nice selection of authentic local dishes with Dutch influence ... I can't imagine that a Dutch sausage is served as appetizer then coming with all premium local dishes.

I work in the nearby area, and came here with some colleagues for a team lunch. The food was quite good - we tried the one metre sausage, the grilled pomfret, the soft shell crab, and some salads. All were of good quality and enjoyable. The price is decent for a restaurant around the area. Ambiance was excellent, and service... More

You drive into a small city centre car park and tucked into the urban concrete is a little gem of a restaurant. We went for lunch had a starter (lumpias and salad), main (Sumartran chicken curry and "rice table") and dessert each plus a fruit juice and coffee and were amazed at the value for money. The service was great,... More

Great starters (a one meter sausage!), and main courses (the tree curry pomfret was superb and generous). But spoilt by having to wait 35 minutes for fried bananas which we cancelled. Ridiculous given the number of staff they employ. A shame, as it spoilt a good experience.

absolutely great authentic indonesian food..gurami telur asin, keredok, bebek langkuas, dendeng and kecepir were especially deserving of mention. Authentic dutch planter/chinese decor and ambience. Great service all the way. A must do for the Indonesian food enthusiast.

I love the whole thing about this place, especially the food. To start, i love sosis om yance; a metre long sausage served with mustard, the sausage is just perfect, moist and well seasoned. I also love their huzaren sla and bitterballen. The best thing would be their nasi bakar cakalang, steamed rice with skip jack tuna served in hot... More

Their tag line is "The isle of colorful spice", it really represents their variety of food. I have great time to have a dinner for breaking the fast during Ramadhan 2016 with some colleagues. Food is great, ranging from Hot Soto Ayam to Crispy Dendeng Balado. The atmosphere is wonderful with friendly servers. Great place for friends and family gathering,... More
