I went here with a local friend. The service was rapid, and the cobra I tried was spectacular. If you're feeling daring, try the Devil's Drink (snakeblood) which is mixed with alcohol and honey (don't pop the bile sack though!).

It is a quiet restaurant in the backpackers area of the town. Although it looks "Spanish" and have a selection of ibericans dishes we went for Indonesian chicken skewers with rice and peanut sauce. Food was good for its price, our drinks (lemon juice and avocado juice) arrived quickly and were very refreshing. I would (and probably will) come back.... More

The service is ok and the food, what we tried at least, was also ok. Nothing memorable or great about it. We tried the pineapple and shrimp salad, beef rendang and grilled cobra and piton. The snakes where the best, the rest pretty average. Deserts are average as well, the place has it's charm though. Unless you're in the area... More

Waited 55 minutes for a pizza, felt disrespected. And there were only 5 people including myself eating there at the time. They have no idea and how much a traveler time is worth. Pizza was awful as well, burnt on the bottom, uncooked on the top. Worst pizza crust I've ever had. Staff spoke very little English and was very... More

This was a quiet little restaurant in the city near the backpacker district. It offered a variety of options including the exotic choice of grilled python and cobra. The staff was extremely friendly and offered up some suggestions. The snake was good and if you are adventurous I recommend you give it a try. We also had a western dish... More

No seafood in the paella, just rice and water down gazpacho. I am from Spain. Overpriced for what it is you are better of at a local restaurant.

Cheap restaurant in the backpacker-district of Yogya. Frequented by backpackers and other tourists, no locals. Food was good but seemed a bit westernised...not so sure because Yogya cuisine is different to rest of Java, much sweeter and not so spice so it might be authentic. We tried the mixed grilled snake of cobra and python. Very good and cheap, however... More
