Craving for local Javanese late breakfast and very satisfied with this pecel restaurant. Pecel is boiled vegetables with peanut sauce, served over rice. Then you can add chicken, beef, egg, tofu or tempe to top it. Besides the tasty, filling food, the restaurant atmosphere is really nice with its traditional Javanese feeling.

When I heard there was a restaurant where current President of Indonesia (Joko Widodo) decided to walk for a quick lunch from his hotel, I was quite intrigued. The restaurant that he decided to go was Pecel Solo Resto. A restaurant with a very nice vintage feel to it, located in a 5 minutes walking distant from the Hyatt Regency... More

We were looking for a venue to hold our final night dinner for our Pencak Silat training trip and our driver/guide, Novendi brought us to Pecel Solo! What a wonderful experience for those who had never really experienced Indonesian cuisine or culture before. The food was outstanding, the service exemplary and the ambience just perfect! I look forward to our... More

Basically i love pecel, so this resto really suit my appetite. Located near hyatt hotel, and accessible by walk from hyatt. Its peanut sauce was perfect, vegetables were fresh, and food other than pecel were also great. Lobe to come back here if i visit yogya.

I chose this place for lunch with my friends and no regrets. First, I love this traditional wooden Joglo house with all the vintage interior. Not only table and chairs but you can choose the big wooden bed to sit on and enjoy the food there. Very nice atmosphere to spend time with friends, family or even couple. They serve... More

The food is good and conventional, but the place is really nice, with wood structure, and typically javanese carving. I could stay there for hours.

Huge restaurant with large tables. The food was nice, but all the staff went into hiding, so we couldn't order anything extra. Wouldn't take any of my cards either.
