Expensive - thought the drink special was pretty good but the prices were high even by the Boat Quay standards. They had an appetizer plate that was $50 for some spring rolls, satays and fish cakes. we didn't order that but did pay $25 for a plate of noodles, $15 for a large Tom Yum soup and $15 for an... I'm so stupid to read other review so late. It would have saved me a lot of money. We've paid 200$ for a very mediocre food. That's a pure tourist traps. Escape and run away. Don't believe the free drink and 20% discount.

A lovely, friendly young lady enticed us here by telling us we'd get a free drink each and 20% off the best food on the strip...but this is totally misleading as she doesn't say that this only applies to "main courses" and is limited to one plate per person, so you can't share a selection of plates. The food is... More

The $ per gram pricing for seafood (such as chili crab) is intentionally misleading and will result with an outrageous bill. They are taking advantage of many tourists daily. Additionally, my chili crab was not editable. I told the server this was a scam...they are all in on it. They are intentionally ripping people off. I called my credit card... More

I would say this is standard Chinese restaurant food at a high price. We had two small plates of food not live seafood with fried rice and it cost $100. Stir fry beef & squid (squid $35 for 8 small bits) About $85 more than the markets for lesser tasting food. Service was ok. View of the river was excellent

See your dinner swimming in a tank, place your order and wait for it to be cooked. This is an expensive restaurant, offset by a free drink on arrival - we had beer and wine - plus a stunning location right on the river. Service was so-so but the food was excellent. we will return and try the lobster next... More

We visited Boat Quay in Singapore for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and were persuaded to eat at this restaurant by a waitress offering the best table and 1 free drink each. We had mixed Satay to start, which was quite nice but they started serving the main course before we'd finished. The waitress who served us kept up-selling our portions... More

First night in Singapore. Went down to the waterfront and got caught going down the steps by a waiter who said he would offer us a lovely table with the light show later. The menu was unclear about pricing and there were small, medium and large portions. I don't recall asking for medium but that is was we got. The... More

I will say straight off the bat that this restaurant is not as good service or quality wise as Tian Tian Fishermans next door. It is also a smaller restaurant and caters to tourists (who don't want to eat live seafood by the way). They don't serve complimentary peanuts or fruit at the end of the meal. The waiters are...
