We came here for our valentine day lunch. Both my wife and I like the food and the prices is reasonable. Will visit again next time to try other items on the menu.

Do sit at the bar facing the chefs, this option is open for smaller diner groups and is well worthwhile. Larger tables are available upstairs but in reality this feels a little out of the way and I would suggest only for a large group....More

We went there on Saturday with no reservation. Nevertheless staff was so kind to find a table alfresco. We shared several tapas. There were just amazing fusion of Spain, Japan and France. Incredible mix of taste, texture and ingredients made these tapas much more than...More

We only found this restaurant by accident when wondering around Jiak Chuan Road, and what a great surprise. Carlos, is a great young (looks 20'sh) dynamic Spanish chef, who should take full crate in creating some great Spanish dishes. Sitting at the bar (best place...More

Really good food. Like Omakase experience. Legit spanish chef who explains to you what everything is only for you not to understand. Nice place to drink wine and eat tapas. Spent $200+ for 2 people without wine though. So it's a bit pricey...

Esquina is one of the few small plates place that I've returned to a couple of times. I've always been seated outside/ first level but if you are there for a quiet dinner, I think the second level will be a good option. In particular,...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by some friends who lives in Singapore. It was nothing less than exceptional. We were lucky to get a seat at the "bar" which is part of the kitchen and were able to follow the creation of all the...More

A must visit, their lunch sets are value for money. Food is freshly prepared and do opt for counter seats so that you can see the kitchen in action. A must order is their Spanish octopus which is cooked in an oven heated up by...More

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.

Inspired by the colourful tapas bars found in Spain, ESQUINA offers modern Spanish tapas in a unique location surrounded by post-war colonial buildings, hip coffee joints and old-school home-style restaurants. Helming the kitchen is head chef Carlos Montobbio who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Celler de Can Roca (3 stars), Zuberoa (2 stars) and Cinc Sentits (1 star). Designed by Singapore-based Columbian architect Antonio Eraso, ESQUINA features a long communal bar and open kitchen with specially designed stools made in the UK.
