Food came so far from what it looked like on the menu and website. Food is not great. Will not go back again.

Mediocre Japanese food with mediocre service. Whilst is is reasonably cheap, the quality of the food wasn’t good. Oil wasn’t hot enough for cooking so fried food was a bit oily. I would go to Liang Court for better food (even from the supermarket)!

A nice Japanese restaurant in the city area. A bit crowded during lunch hour but turn around was pretty fast. We opted for the A'la carte menu and were very satisfied with quality and cut. Service staffs were very attentive and polite.

Pretty decent quality for the price. Food was served fast and piping hot. Sashimi was fresh and thick. Lots of variety.

Quality and taste of food is below average. 'Shio-yaki' was basically saltless and tasteless most of the time. Sashimi didn't taste yummy at all. Pretty disappointed with the food taste.

90-seat restaurant in the heart of Singapore. Open for lunch and dinner throughout the year except for 4 days (Lunar New Year Eve to Lunar Third Day). Wide selection of Japanese cuisines – authentic, savory and affordable. All-you-can-eat premium ala-carte buffet for only SGD41.90 (adult) | SGD23.90 (child below 1.2m tall) | free (child in baby chair). Over 150 dishes including our signature thick cut sashimi (raw seafood). Fast and friendly service even when restaurant is full (and that’s most times). Choice of sitting at the sushi bar, keyaki booths (train seats) or dining halls overlooking the picturesque Singapore River. Learn about Japanese sake (fermented rice spirit) when you chance upon our founder, Mr William Chia, retired banker and ‘international Kikisake-shi’ (sake sommelier). His son, John runs the restaurant. Very hands-on, he may be preparing your sushi, delivering food to your table or washing dishes in the kitchen. Book your seat early to avoid disappointment
