Great little garden restaurant and bar, awesome selection of british beer and cider, affordable foods, safe for kids, tricky to find, but worth it...

Walk back into a 1960s NAAFI frozen in time with a menu, formula tables and atmosphere completely unchanged. A living museum where locals and expats alike enjoy British high calorie unspiced food just like granny used to make.

I'd heard great things about this place but honestly some things are better left in the past. It's basically a British army squadies NAFI (soldiers canteen) from the 1950's & nothing's changed since. The food wasn't great & neither was the service.

It's not in the menu so you would just have to ask for it but it's the bomb. One of the best I have tried!

If you like the rustic relax place.to hang out, Colbar is the place. Had late lunch with the hubby and 6 year old kid here yesterday. This COLonial BAR is a hidden gem off whitchurch road. The path is directly opposite the parking area for Pietra Santa (a very good Italian restaurant). Apart from the rustic ambience, the prices remain very affordable and the beer and cider selection is among the best to be found in Singapore. If you are staying west of centre it is... More

It has been years since I went to Colbar, and I am definitely glad that it is still around. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Colbar provides a tranquil environment for my family to get together, and at the same time allowing my son to be exposed to nature. Food was decent, however take note that... More

I bump into this place while leaving the Italian restaurant across the road. This cafe was hidden behind some bushes and trees. I love the setting as it reminded me of Cafe/coffee shop back in the 1970s. The price of drinks and food are considered cheap for a cafe. Tea for S $2. Would recommend a visit for afternoon tea.

Very unique place with nice environment. Out of city and busy street. Very good Hainan style cook. Must try are the chicken curry, pork chop!
