We went for drinks on Saturday night. The rooftop bar was packed but the staff managed to find us a table. They have an extensive menu, but drinks are expensive. I paid $20 for a pint of beer. Drinks took quite a long time to come. Good view outside though.

Came here with a few friends for some beers earlier in the week. The view from the rooftop bar out over the city is impressive, but the beers are way too expensive - which is perhaps why there was hardly anyone there. We had one beer and some food and moved on to the next venue.

Very much like fun! But the waiter is a but too much of a friend. We do not like that! My friend drank rose wine and he said immediately. That is wine for girls, not men!! The gin tonic is quite expensive but nog served in a nice gin tonis glass

Visited with my friend for drinks and food. Waited over 30 mins for beef sliders and wings. Checked once with the bartender and she didn't get back to us. Checked with another waiter and we were told that it takes at least 20 mins to cook them. BUT IT HAS BEEN 30 MINS?!? Then they told us that it's coming... More

So, the place is rather nice, not only because of the view. It has a great style, it's rooftop, it has a view of the CBD on one side (and not much on the other), but aside from this it's the concept in itself that I like. Basically aside from the rooftop bar, where you can have decent food and... More

Probably the worst bar in Singapore with very rude Bartenders. Don't know how their drinks and refuse to admit their mistake.

When I am in Singapore, I am spending at least one night on the roof terrace of the Screening Room. It is very nicely located at Ann Siang Hill and Club Street. The roof terrace is usually quite crowded, but I always found a place to stay. The best thing is to be outside and above the busy streets of... More

We were excited to get to the top of the restaurant/bar called the terrace. It took the lady 3 tries to remember the 3 drinks we had ordered and she kept coming back and reconfirming what we ordered. That was weird but what was weird was we got served a drink in a broken glass which my friend realized when... More

Rude staff . That practically nudged us out citing no more customers since we are full . Have not experienced such rude behaviour in Singapore

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
