Marcela, I don't know the tour that you're referencing, but you can go to La Fleur de Sel without a company bringing you. The B&B I stayed at recommended eating there, which I did on my own. My guess is that the $400 charge included some kind of all-day visit to the spa and restaurant, since there also are thermal baths and the facilities connected to the restaurant are very nice. I only ate my meal there, which was well under $400 and well-worth the lesser amount that I paid. If you prefer not to spend so much, I highly recommend the restaurant. It was very affordable even though it is a more expensive restaurant that many others in the area. With the strength of the dollar vs. the Chilean peso, it's still quite reasonable. There's also a lovely little restaurant near the bottom of the same road, which is so new I was unable to write a review on Trip Advisor about it. They weren't yet listed (and I'm hoping they will be soon). It's called La Olla and they do the slow-food/farm-to-table preparation of food. I only had dessert because I'd had a late lunch/dinner at another great find that isn't listed, called Cocina de Mapuche. I got a multi-course meal, prepared by the international chef/owner who is a native Mapuche and showcases traditional dishes of her people. In both instances, the food was amazing, and they only accepted cash. But prices are such that cash shouldn't be an issue. I believe my lunch was equivalent to $10 American (with the tip) at Cocina de Mapuche and around similar, probably a little less for a taste-bud pleasing chocolate dessert that made me wish I'd had room for dinner, too. If you'll be in the area, both of these restaurants are slightly off the beaten path but easily found and worth seeking out. Enjoy your travels! I loved Pucon.
