This was a must return. The first visit my husband ordered the sausage sandwich. When I tasted it I couldn't let go and I had salmon ravioli in front of me. This visit we enjoyed her melt in you mouth venison stroganoff. Our guests have just arrived and we can't wait to take them to "this" castle in the air.

El Castillo offers fantastic food, incredible views and good gringo hospitality. We live in Pucon and it is always one of the places on the top of the list to take guests to. It is perfect for after hiking the volcano, or just a good place to go and have a beer and take in the views on a hot... More

We just stopped for drinks late afternoon and hang out outside on their patio. What a great spot! Service was excellent, very friendly!

We split a delicious pizza and enjoyed a cozy and cutesy atmosphere after a rainy, cold and snowy excursion to the volcano. A nice place to stop.

Quirky little castle restaurant run by a Chileao/English couple. We ate there twice, once with pisco sours and a lunch platter outside under the volcano, and once for a charming dinner. Zoe, the English side of the owner couple, was a treat to meet and talk with. Go up the road to the Villarica Volcano park entrance, and the the... More

We are so happy we stopped at this restaurant coming back from an excursion to the Villarica Volcano! In fact, we liked it so much that we came back twice during our vacations. The menu is not very extensive but with several different options to try: we had the salmon-stuffed ravioli, the fish (I think it was grouper), sandwiches and... More

We recently celebrated a birthday and choose El Castillo for our celebration spot. Not only do they have an amazing view of the volcano, the pizza is out of this world! Zoe always makes sure to accommodate everyone's needs. Juices are natural, tall and delicious! Highly suggest visiting El Castillo when you need a change of scenery from Pucon! We... More

El Castillo is a nice surprise by the side of the road to the Villarrica volcanoe, that unfolds best once you step inside. Crossing the door is like stepping into a LOTR movie, and I could really imagine Myself as being at Bilbo Baggins' home in the Middlelands. It felt like a small, warm, cozy and familiar little cottage from... More
