My girlfriend and I went here for a big meal prior to our evening flight to Santiago. And Tablon de Ancla delivered! I went for the Milanese and my girlfriend the vegetarian sandwich. Both were delicious, as was the local amber ale! Our waiter was super attentive, polite and offered us an English menu which was much appreciated, as while... More

Pleasant staff who helped us to explain the menu by examples from neighboring tables. We were in Chile only on the third day. Huge portions and good beer. For us a very good memory and a local experience that didn't fade even after a total of 5 weeks of travel experiences in Chile.

The location is excellent in downtown. The interior is wooden made with a warm atmosphere. Food is good and tasty. However the service is poor. The first time I went there, I sat more than one hour waiting my order which was fish and salad. Second time, for a Beef with chips I had to wait 45 minutes and went... More

I thought I couldn't go wrong with ordering a Milanese. It was drenched in fat and the salad was so green even The carrots taste green. I will not comment on the sloppy Fries as I believe this to be more common then exception in south america. The waiter wasn't impressed.

We came once and fell in love with the place. Very good food (nothing fancy) at reasonable price. On our second visit we all decided to have the best dish on the house: Cerdo con chucrut. The cook made it just perfect! Good selection of beers and sandwiches. It is a very good place for couple or family; for any... More

Nothiing fancy but good service and plain food at a good price. In terms of comfort very basic, not a place to lounge or relax in, or have a romantic date! Functional. Large portions - can easily share a portion with a child. Varied menu. We will be going back there next time.

This is a lively place for all ages. Typical modern Chilean food, though fried food predominates, usually with lots of salt. But the atmosphere is great, a fun place to visit.

The last time I was there I ordered a baked salmon. It came completely dried out and ruined. I haven't been back. Nice view, good location, good service, wrecked salmon.

Huge jugs of beer? An humongous plate of blood sausages and spicy mashed potatoes? A portion for “2” of pichanga, a mix of fries, sausages, fried eggs, boiled eggs, avocado, beef and pickled cucumber that it looks as if it could feed 10? Then you are in the right place. I agree that it could be a bit cheaper, but... More

I ate dinner here with friends. The pisco sours were pretty poor and weak, unfortunately. The food was decent. I enjoyed the fries. Everything is overpriced and the service was slow.
