One of our happiest experiences in Chile was finding this hole in the wall run by Gordito and his family and specializing in fish. How tasty it was after all the meat of Argentina and other parts of Chile. I had the trout in savory butter, which was hand-boned by the owner himself, and my husband had the salmon after... More

Our guide recommended this restaurant. I ordered salmon with shrimp. The portion was HUGE. The atmosphere is unique. You almost feel like you on a movie set. There is no restaurant in the world that looks like this place. It is small (24 places), tight and overly decorated. The staff are friendly. Yoh can tell they have been there for... More

A fun little spot tucked away just off the street. Good fish dishes in a cheerful atmosphere, at reasonable prices

We were really happy with the food here! The staff were nice, the decor was interesting! Almost like a sitting room feel to it. The food was really great, I would definitely recommend trying the merluza with the brandy sauce here.

One has a comfortable feeling of eating with the locals in this restaurant even though most guests are tourists. The staff is very friendly and incredibly efficient, seating quite a large number of people in a small space. Orders are taken quickly and food is served just as promptly. We had excellent fish--conger--but the rest of the meal was quite... More

Went here for dinner and left stuffed! This is a family run restaurant which is definitely worth going to if you are in town. The staff were very friendly and were clearly proud of their restaurant. The seafood was unreal - both my husband and I loved our dishes and were very full at the end but had to finish... More

Came in with high hopes based on past reviews. The food was fine. Salmon in garlic sauce was the worst. Never had salmon that tasted so fishy. The steak was good, and the trout, too. Between 3 people, 3 plates was too much food

Surprised by the mixed reviews, this is a great small, local, character filled place for a well priced meal in Puerto Varas. Not fine dining sure, but you want delicious cooked with love, you'll get it here. Pisco sours to start, calamares with garlic and chilli to start, ensalada mixta, Spanish style - peas and tomatoes based chorizo and patas... More

Loved the character in this place. All too often restaurants have a really 'clean' or 'hip' look - nothing wrong with this, but I appreciate restaurants that are unique. This place is certainly that - a lot of people have written notes on napkins/serviettes and hung them on the wall. Aside from this, the seafood is really great - a... More
