Probably the best place for sushi in Valdivia, the food was delicious and the ambience was nice, be prepared to wait abit for the food though as with most restaurants in Valdivia, we realised it takes a bit more time than usual.

Quiet and fancy restaurant at the ground floor of a beautiful hotel with the best views to the river.

Sushi was really good, different than we have in the states. It was all good and all had cream cheese which did not upset me at all! The restaurant doesn't open until 8:00 pm which is really late for US peeps traveling. But we managed! Atmosphere is fun and menu has a lot if English which helps! Would go back.

If you are accustomed to the best japanese restaurants in the world, this is a good one in Valdivia. It is located in the Dreams hotel and the menu is large and you will find many choices of your liking. Not the best place for sake, do not ask for a "gohan" portion (they will bring seasoned sushi rice instead).... More

This restaurant is in the hotel Deams. The food was decent not fabulous as I've reviewed in other areas we've stayed. But the hostess was the nastiest person. Perhaps because we did not speak English. But in a tourist area and a tourist hotel I would have expected someone to either be more pleasant or speak English.

Very good sushi is served in the Gohan. Lovely sushi with decent variety. Be aware that restaurant is quite popular so there can be some waiting time; the sushi is freshly prepared. The service is good enough but can improve. We enjoyed the food there and actually went twice.

We were surprised by the quality of meet, served with a rich and tasty sauce. The ceviche is good, the sashimi and sushi maki too. Rice a bit salty, not really Asian style

Best sushi in Valdivia not only for flavor but for variety. I'm actually going back to Gohan tonight! (I live in Valdivia.) Do be warned though, the diversity of raw fish and creative rolls is lacking - at least compared to what is offered in the US. The lack of diversity is not just Gohan, they actually have the best,... Besides the huge variety of sushi, they have lots of nice food like Ebi tempura, gyosas, mixed sashimi, ceviches, etc. The list is really long so I suggest you try it. For people that don't like seafood they also have lots of special dishes prepared with pastas, meat or chicken. The only problem with this restaurant is that some tables... More
