I would just highlight the excellent service (Judith) we received, which partially offset the food and the environment.

This restaurant has been located in the Hyatt Hotel for years. As such, the quality has been gradually declining, as it seems to be more of a tourist cash-cow than a restaurant that exudes ownership pride. If you have had the fortune of dining at great Japanese restaurants worldwide, as I have, you recognize this restaurant's food quality and presentation... More

Best Japanese food we had in santiago in 2 month! Grilled Aubergine in miso sauce was just mouth watering, I'm vegan and my better half is a meat lover, we both had good options and every dish was just right. Atmosphere cozy and relaxed, service a bit lousy, but friendly. Will definitely go back again!

Went there with my wife and we are both quite picky with our sushi. This wasn't our first pick but they had tables so we went for a bite. I had gone to Matsuri before and it was quite good so I if good expectations, however on this visit we were sorely disappointed. First of all, it took around 50... More

For the price they charge for a bottle of wine is just insulting. Food is good, fresh. We had some iosas as appetizers, tried better ones. The rest of the food was very good.

I had a quick solo dinner and I enjoyed the good service. The food was ok and the prices reasonable for a Japanese restaurant.

The food was amazing, the staff very helpful and the prices according to the quality. I strongly recommend the Koshe roll and the tuna sashimi. If you come you will not regret. Tip: try the ice cream.

I had dinner at Matsuri during a recent stay in Santiago. I like sushi restaurant as its easy to get seated when travelling solo. I had an overall good time at Matsuri and service was prompt and friendly. The ginger pisco sour was an interesting take on a classic. I had a small bottle of the premium sake which was... More

Located in the Grand Hyatt hotel, Matsuri has a terrace overlooking the beautiful hotel gardens, which was lovely on a warm February evening. We enjoyed a very good sashimi & sushi plate with a nice bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. A perfect dinner after a hot day of sightseeing in Santiago.
