Certainly worth the trip out to Lo Barnechea. The fresh king crab starter is simply out of this world, not to mention very generous. The lamb was good but a bit dry, which was a shame, as it was a huge portion. Service was pleasant enough. It is quite pricey, but again, the fresh centolla made it all worthwhile.

The lamb was incredible. Tender meat roasted to perfection, asado style.Good side dishes and decent selection of wines. We found the king crab to be average though, and not worth the price, so stick with the lamb.

Not so far from the downtown, at Lo Barnechea area, "El Meson de la Patagonia" menu is basically lamb "al palo". The place tries to emulate a countryside restaurant and is really pretty different from the offers you find in the downtown, located a few minutes from here, As an appetizer, you find machas among other seafood options. The main... More

I brought customers here for dinner and I was delighted. I love lamb and here it is cooked in many ways, including cured and served as sliced ham would be, for a starter, that was superb. I finished with a rhubarb crumble that was delicious. We sat outside and the service was very good. This will be on my dining... More

This restaurant has just changed his street number : 1223. The new place is nicely decorated respecting the previous style. The “cordero al palo” surrounded by high tables gives the ambiance. You can eat inside and outside. The terrace is pleasant and inside the courtyard so it is quiet. It continues serving the same dishes, especially lamb and crab. The restaurant... More

Simply the best chilean food and restaurant I ever had. "Centolla" is plentiful and the atmosphere at the place is really nice.

We shared the king crab for starters and had the house speciality lamb for mains. Both were fantastic. Try the Pisco Sour with honey - it is amazing!

Dont let the outer part of the decoration fool you. Inside is another world. Lamb is one of the best I have had. Expensive but worthit.

Great restaurant specializing in Patagonia lamb (Cordero patagonico) and king crab (centolla) from south of chile The food is exquisite, in an area and a space that doesn't look like anything special from the outside Well recommended

Thank Patrick H

Cosy and relaxed restaurante with the best patagonian food, over 20 years of experience, located close to the access to ski centers, in what use to be a country town. Lambs are cooked in an open fire on the terrace. Fresh King Crab is served from July to December. All year round you can experience King Crab in diferent dishes.
