I was able to get a last minute reservation for February 13 special Valentine's day dinner menu. I heard so much about Osaka, so I was very excited to take my date there. The staff was very good and the food was generally very good as well. The biggest surprise of all was the "Special menu". All 6 courses were... More

It locates at the lobby floor of the W Hotel in Santiago, Chile, and is perceived by many a trendy place in town. It presents itself as a specialist of Asian inspired fusion cooking Japanese restaurant but the result is far from satisfactory, especially for those who are from Asia or any international cities with better education of Japanese and... I've got to say, I was half convinced going into Osaka. I met some other tourists on a wine tour I did and everyone was raving about it but I was skeptical given the location inside the W hotel but I have to say I was wrong. I actually ended up going twice during my stay in Santiago... First of... More

I was only able to get seats at the sushi bar on a monday, so make reservations if you can. The place is very cousy, at the 4th floor of a business center. The waiter was very nice. Don't miss the pisco. It's all about adapting japanese food with local spices, and it tastes wonderful. The roolls were the best... More

I made reservations at Osaka and asked if they had a Chef's Tasting or Omakase menu. Given the reputation of this restaurant, I would naturally expect they'd have those options. The reservationist said they didn't but the servers would be happy to create on on request. After a rather awkward conversation with the servers, the dinner began. First, the food... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Santiago. The menu is large enough to find something for everyone. The duck gyosas and the seafood grill and fantastic. the grill is huge and has calamari shrimp and octopus, good enough for at least 3 people. The salon belly nigiri are great and the thai rice is very good. If you... More

Had never tasted Nikkei sushi and found it to be a burst of interesting favors I have never thought to combine. Fish was extremely fresh.

This is the best restaurant in Santiago. The food is just awesome. Fresh, flavourful and very inventive. Go for chef's selection you will love it. Wine list is also great.
