Looking for food in the city, went here based on reviews. Didn't disappoint. One server spoke English, but that was enough. Ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 was average size with chips and tested great, the other, a tooth fish sandwich with fries was HUGE; plenty for...the 2 of us. Top it off with local beer (punta arenas local) at 2 x 1 and you couldn't beat this bargain. Excellent find.More

Had a very nice lunch, a varied menu. My ceasar salad with chicken was fresh and had a nice dressing and a huge portion. They gave me lemon juice to put on it for a nice touch. Very reasonable too. I saw someone get a...burger it was massive! I would recommend and return. Good service too which is always appreciated!More

Great location right in downtown Chile. Very good food - definitely try the pumpkin soup - was delicious.

The place is constantly full and with many reservations in advance. It is situated right in the heart of the business and commercial centre of Santiago, so there is a lot of competition around. No wonder why all the locals go there. Great and quick...service, simple dishes, delicious taste and very very big portions. The place like an upper class tapas bar but it has a regular menu of a restaurant. Mousse chocolat highly recommended as dessertMore

The staff were very friendly indeed - food was ok, felt homely for me. It is near Plaza de Armas so I had a good walk after that too.

Staff was very friendly. Our waiter warned us that the appetizers we were ordering to share were going to be too much food. The food was very good. They have Coke Zero and Diet Coke. I would eat here again.

It's one of those dilemmas. You're enjoying a meal, and then you make an unpleasant little discovery. I thought, at first, that a filling must have come out. I was suddenly aware of something hard and strange in my mouth. As I was eating a...mouthful of the Quijote's prawn and caesar salad at the time, it seemed odd. It turned out to be a piece of hard plastic with a sharp edge - a piece about the size of a tiny coin. I called the waiter. He took it away for 'analysis', then eventually returned with a picture of a tupperware box full of salad leaves on his mobile phone, and apologised and said it had come from the rim of that box. It put me right off my appetite; in fact, I only picked at whatever the replacement pasta and shrimp dish was that later arrived. But my friend enjoyed his meal, however - vegetarian fajitas - and we both enjoyed the Lara Hartwig wine, by the glass. To be fair, as I couldn't face the food, my meal was eventually deleted from the bill. So this is the dilemma. Had I not stumbled upon a piece of plastic in my food, I'd have probably given this place four or five stars. It's in the heart of the city's business district, so it's always packed weekday lunchtimes. But I thought they could have handled this incident better, so I'm down to three stars.More

We were wandering through the business district and almost despaired of finding anywhere decent to eat. Just before we settled for fast food we stumbled onto this locals haunt - bustling and full of business types. We elected to eat at the bar and they...found us a waiter who spoke English. The meal was more than adequate, good cocktails and the price around $40 for two.More

Loved the food here. Prices might be a little bit higher than the regular food out there, but it makes it up in quality. Excellent service as well. Enjoyable. Would return, no doubt!

A busy, and a bit noisy place with wide selection of excellent food choices. Crusted tuna on a bed of sweet potato mash was very good, as was the octopus in a chimmichura sauce. This is being picky but both, octopus and tuna were perhaps...a tiny bit overdone. For drink - enjoyed a home made lemonade *without* sugar. It came in a plain, mint and ginger varieties. Price was above average for downtown Santiago - CLP 100,000 for 6 people each ordering 1 plate and a drink.More

The place is nice, and the food is good! I believe it's a good cost benefit to try the Congrio fish, typical fish from Chile. You're gonna spend around 12.000 pesos chilenos.

We dropped in for lunch and the restaurant was very busy so we figured it would be good and it was! We sat downstairs and our waiter El Jefe was great! I started off with a pisco sour which was one of the better ones...I have had in Chile. My wife and I had the Parrilla del Mar for two and it was comprised of tuna, shrimp and octopus. It came with superb veggies and rice plus a great cream sauce. The wine was a sauvignon blanc which was crisp and fruity. Dessert was a dulce molino - wow! The bill came in a hollow book which was a great idea. A great meal and a fantastic experience.More

This was my first visit at this restaurant. We selected it because it was close to our apartment and the reviews made it inviting. We were not disappointed. Service is attentive without being overbearing, the atmosphere was relaxed as this was the last batch of...customers being served. The menu is varied with a little more emphasis on fish and seafood that day. I had a merluza austral that was cooked to perfection (this is not always the case with fish), accompanied with a mix of deliciously prepared fresh vegetables, the whole agreeably presented. My guests chose the seafood parilla (for two) which was also exquisite. Wine selection was made by our garzon and it was exactly what we liked. The place itself is a little unassuming, it closes rather early (being located in the business district). The dishes, however, were excellent. We plan on coming back.More
