Relaxed location between gates 11 and 12 - basically the last stop you can get alcohol before C gates! We had some wine and beer. Both good premium brands. Came with a happy staff member which I find quite rare in airports these days!

Do you want to be advised about great Chilean wine by a sommelier with the best service ever? Get there and look for Oswaldo! The experience is great! Even more considering that you wouldn't guess to find a good spot to spend the time until...the next flight connection. Recommended 100%!!!More

Let me preface this review saying that we had just spent a week in Mendoza drinking the best Malbecs in the world and were in route to Peru to hike the Inca Trail, visiting Machu Picchu and all that. During our layover in Santiago, we...stumbled across this airport wine bar. How fortunate we were. The wine menu is very good. We opted for Montes Purple Angel Carmenere (when in Chile....) and killed two bottles waiting for our connection to Lima. Wow! A GREAT WINE. If you're in Santiago airport and have a layover, and like great wine, this is the place for you! Mark from Cincinnati.More

I’ve been through this airport 3x now and always end up at this bar - every time! It’s small and open but somehow cosy and comfortable, offering little tables for 2-3 people that can be pulled together for bigger groups. Most of the staff there...don’t seem to understand English very well but the menus help so we simply point and smile to order and muddle our way through. The range of wines on offer is good and available by the glass or bottle, and they always supply little dishes of nuts to nibble on while enjoying your wine! If more food is desired, they also have a menu for this too (I’ve only had one of the Empanadas which was a single, not a large meal but very good) :-) I personally love this little wine bar and think there is no better destination in this airport while waiting for your flight to leave!More

Lovely Service, decent food bited but amazing Wine list from several Valleys accross Chile. I loved the atmosphere and the wines. I tasted 3 different kinds of grapes ( Carmenere, Syrah and Merlot) and the person in charge was really nice and with very good...knowledge and pacience to explain each wine and winery. I ended buying a bottle of my favorite one. Thanks!More

A good place to pass some time at the airport. They had an excellent selection of wine and it was very busy. You have to watch out what you order because they have some pretty pricey stuff there too. You can order some limited food...there, but we had only time for wine.More

They have a selection of good wines and snacks such as sandwiches, empanadas, cheese plate etc. Prices are not cheap but I found it worth it.

I stopped for a glass of wine(Pinot Noir Ocio), a mushroom sandwich and a bottle of water. As I enjoyed the wine, I bought a bottle... Totally lost about Chile’s money, they charged me: 142.33 DOLLARS 😱😱😱😱😱

We had some free time before we were due to catch our international flight, and felt like a nice red wine. By accident we discovered this venue at the airport. It is not situated in a central part of the airport, so you might have...to go on a bit of a search if you want a good quality wine. Service was genuinely friendly - she asked us what sort of characteristics and tastes we liked in a red wine, so she was certainly knowledgable. The Chilean bottle of red wine we purchased was delicious. There was a good selection, and the price was clearly displayed. More international airports need this type of quality "wine bar" to help introduce travellers to local wines.More

During our last vert short stopover in Santiago airport last April, we decided to try this establishment. Without checking the menu, we ordered two glasses of house wine and two small bottles of water. Our bill came to 60,060 Chilean pesos including the tip. I...didn’t question the bill because I was not aware of the exchange rate for Chilean pesos and also because boarding of our plane had started, that stopover is very short. I was very shocked when later on I viewed the charge in my credit card: that bill came to CAD $119.92 ! I thought the cost of two ordinary glasses of wine excessive so I contacted the company to confirm the charge or to confirm that it was a mistake. I received a very prompt reply explaining the following: “There is a reason. The wines we offer change highly depending on quality. For example we open by the glass icon wines with retail price of USD +300 USD. In fact each glass of this kind of wine should be priced $26.000.-This approaches the value you indicate. Also all prices are advertised on the menu to comply with law and to avoid this type of situation.” Therefore no mistake, this is what an ordinary glass of house wine could cost you at Vinum if you are naïve enough to trust the waiter. Indeed, we did not check the menu, but the waiter did not warn us that he was serving us one of their most expensive wines. I have no way of verifying this, it was supposed to be house wine (I did not recognize the label) and so it tasted: quite ordinary. And yes, we were too trusting but we have gone through the Santiago airport for more than 20 years and tried all of the establishments available for food and drink, this was our first time at Vinum. We were never subjected before to what is a clear case of taking advantage of the tourist. On the contrary, as busy as this airport often is, service has always been tops and the charges reasonable, therefore for us there was reason to trust. There was no language misunderstanding either, I speak fluent Spanish. It is very disappointing of this establishment and I will take it up with the supervisor in person next time we travel through. In the meantime to all of you that would like to try Vinum: tourist beware!More
