I just loved it! It's like one of a kind! Located in one of Santiago's most famous restaurants areas, Borde Rio, this may be it's coolest exponent. It has 2 stories, both of them decorated in a way that makes you think of East, like India or Arabia. The food is amazing, the tuna is the best one I've ever... More

I had been wanting to come to this place for sometime at first when we had arrived we had an issue because I had tried to make reservations days before and was not allowed to. Upon arriving they asked for reservations and I had argued that I tried to and the person who took my call was rude. Moving forward...... More

This past visit was our 6th time to Zanzibar. It has never failed to be a pleasure. The atmosphere is great and the staff equal to it. The lamb tagine was superb as usual and others were raving about their meals as well. We missed the belly dancing this time as we were not there on the dance night, but... More

Despite the price, the experience of Zanzibar is great. A small menu offers great dishes. The waiters know a lot about what they are offering. The look of the place is pretty cool. Don't miss the Pakistani Angus Curry.

This place's decor is very cute and unique, the food is also great full of exotic flavors. The only problem was that the service was very poor, we had to wait a long time for our food. I strongly recommend to make reservations because this restaurant has a lot of costumers and if you go during winter don't eat in... More

We originally intended to have dinner here, but when other obligations made that impossible, we chose to have lunch, instead. We were really glad that we did! Six of us shared appetizers and main courses. I particularly recommend the Tuna Tartare as an appetizer. For the main course, please try the Congrio. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I are visiting Chile for our first time and were looking for someplace special for our anniversary. We settled on Zanzibar because of the reviews and the diverse menu! We were not disappointed! WOW! From the moment we walked through the door we were captivated! The decor is incredible! Beautiful Moroccan lamps, tapestries and Art. It's a... More

My husband and I just visited Santiago during our first visit to Chile. We were delighted by Zanzibar and it's excellent cuisine and beautiful decor. It's quite rare to find a restaurant with cuisine representative of more than 10 countries internationally, and the food was delicious. I had the Teriyaki Tuna and Tuna Tartar (& several other appetizers-all equally delicious... More

I went for my birthday to Zanzibar and had overall a good time. The decor is nice, the menu selection wide and different from what you usually get in Santiago. I wouldn't say the food was particularly good or bad, it was just average. The service was also good, but nothing special. This place has the potential to be great... More

We came to Zanzibar just to enjoy a few drinks and soak up the atmosphere. After a few most excellent Peruvian style Pisco Sours we decided to stay and eat. We switched tables to something more relaxing for a longer sit. Old white guys simply don't do that well when eating dinner on an ottoman. :-) It was totally worth... More
