Borage offer only 2 choices a mini 6 course tasting menu (raqko)or the full out 16 course tasting menu (endemica). I went for endemica and it was well worth it. Each dish beautifully presented containing only Chilean ingredients, brought out by the chefs who carefully explained (in English) what the dish comprised. Good matching Chilean wines from small producers. Expensive... More

Based on reviews and recommendations, my partner and I tried Borago. The staff were beautiful and knowledgable about the dishes and wine. Each dish that came, the ingredients were, endemic to Chile and an experience to taste through. At the end of the day though, we thought the wines took front and centre, and it was the desert portion of... More

We tried the 8 course wine paring menu. It was a wonderful unique experience, the presentation is earthy and part of the adventure. I enjoyed everything and must say the price is to steep for what you get and the portions minute! We went for pizza afterwards! In hindsight, i will not choose the wine pairing, as foraging and wine... More

We chose the six-course tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything was good and interesting in terms of preparation and presentation of the dishes. However, we were not blown away. There are often too many tastes being mixed up. The portions are very small, the service a bit too fast and impersonal. The wines served with the wine pairing option were... More

All dishes are a unique experience, extremly creative and innovative. The restaurants serves only "products" from Chile. I'm saying products because the dishes don't consist of typical food but a lot of the alimentary would not be served in a typical restaurant. The attention to the guests is outstanding and the cooks that bring the food to your table make... More

It's undoubtbly an peculiar and unique experience... Wouldn't say the food is exactly good... It's diferent.. Soup of stones and dessert on the stick.. Impeacable service. Too few options for those who are looking for white wine and too noisy - sometimes had to shout to my companions to be understood. It was an interesting experience, but not to be... More

Borago is one of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants for very good reason! The 15 course tasting menu with wine pairings was the perfect exposure into a wide variety of Chilean foods. We had a group of 20 split up between 4 tables. We made the reservation far in advance online. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the food and... More

We had so looked forward to the place and there were lots of positives - but unfortunately the food wasn't one of them! The restaurant itself is appealing with an open kitchen and an army of staff. They were cooking a lamb over coals in the courtyard, which gave a hint of what was to come. We had the 6... More

After much planning and super high expectations "Borago" failed to tantalize our taste buds and live up to its excellent epicurean standing in our experience! We opted for the longer course endemic menu and were informed of the geographic collection and harvesting highlighting the Chilean origin of our menu items. The courses arrived in rapid succession and though well presented... More

My partner and I went to Boragó for dinner we were visiting Santiago, and overall, I really wanted to appreciate and enjoy this place because of how inventive they are, but the dishes fell flat and did not make much sense. Of course, we read about this restaurant in all the "best of" lists that are online. I can see... More
