Went here with a business college and it is a top notch place. It has a huge variety of seafood Including an Oyster bar where you can taste of the daily catch. Very recommended!

This restaurant has been here for decades. If you are into oysters, this is your place. The atmosphere here is perfect to have a date or dinner with your friends. You'll be invited to try their oyster upon your arrival. A good point is that it is just a couple of blocks away from Republica Metro station. Try the 'locos',... More
I loved the environment of one old house at the traditional neighborhood. We had the oysters at the tank... small and delicious The food was fresh, and the taste was the freshness! Really nice classic restaurant to go and have no mistake!!!
Second time here for me, and always up to it's reputation. Seafood is top notch and how can one not appreciate a little sip of white wine and 3 or 4 oysters as a preener mise en bouche. This is on the house and offered when you visit the holding tanks. Don't hesitate to ask for it!
Try to arrive after 8 pm and so you'll have the oysters degustation(4 oysters, fresh, just opened) with a shot of white wine.. We began by sharing an oyster's plate and an avocado/crab perfect of freshness. Then Anny continue with her usual "mix brochette : scallops, octopus, fish,..) and i take the crab just "a la plancha". We end with... More
Nice atmospheric restaurant. They take you in the back to serve you freshly shucked oysters and a tiny glass of local wine. Then you are seated at linen draped tables and served by waiters in jackets. We enjoyed this restaurant very much.
We came here for dinner on the recommendation of one of our friends from Santiago and it did not disappoint!! We were looking for somewhere authentic for good Chilean seafood that was a little less crowded than Mercado Central and this restaurant fit the bill nicely. It is located just behind the church outside of the Republica Metro Station. The... More

Ostras Azocar is definitely a place not to miss in Santiago. Out of the official touristic venues this restaurant offers a unique gastronomic experience in a very nice and characteristic setting. The service is really good and the staff is friendly. I would definitely go back. Hemm don’t miss the Parmesana shells…can’t recall the exact name. Last…a bit overpriced but... More
