This place was our dining introduction to Quito. We loved it. The waiters were attentive and the food was delicious, nicely served. It's obviously a locally popular place. I have no idea how the taxi got us here or from here to the hotel in the Mariscal area, but it was worth the trip.

An experience more than just a dinner. All the things remember me Rome and the Italian Culture. Music, pictures and most of all the food. Service attention almost impeccable.

Nice looking restaurant . Me and my lovely girl was planning to have a romantic dinner, the last night in a beautiful trip in Ecuador. We'd were longing for Italian taste , especially since we had an Excellent dinner in Banos some nights before. The beef carpaccio this evening was a disappointment , and we had to leave for dinner... We were welcomed by friendly staff immediately and were seated. As we sat they brought out a small bruschetta for each of us, which was amazing. We went on to order wine, appetizers, mains and desserts. Everything was unreal! If I had to list the best things to try would be the stuffed mushroom cap appetizer, the Filleto Verona (steak... Briciola remains one of the golden oldies in Quito. It serves original Italian food and has excellent wines and service. Although a bit less personal than before, since it moved to a bigger place in the La Floresta neighbourhood. Nevertheless, the food is still very tasteful, fresh and of good quality although here and there with abundant use of olive... More

Restaurant was recommended by the hotel and I was looking forward to some good Italian food. I ordered caesar salad and spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately I could barely eat it as both dishes were very, very salty. It was first meal in Quito and I was worried that this was an example of how all dishes are served. Luckily not, just... This was a great place! It can be hard to find good Italian food in Ecuador, but this place was great. Everything we had was fantastic, even the bruschetta and tarts on the house. It is a bit expensive for Ecuador, but I think it's definitely worth it. Pictured: pizza, pesto pasta and stuffed mushrooms appetizer.

I have visited the place several times, and the best thing is definitely not the food, it lacks enough to be Italian. Moreover wines offer interesting and affordable options. The service is definitely the best of it.
