Can definitely recommend the shrimp scewers, shrimp tempura and Mongolian beef, but be sure to try their explosive sushi, delicious :) Oh and the lime pie was a perfect end to the meal, love me something tart for desert.

I love Zao. I recommend it to all my friends. Great ambiance, great food. Good price. It has the same food as its similar ZaZu but less expensive.

Zao has been around for a while. The food is still good but used to be better. The prices are affordable (having in mind that Quito is. Ow a very expensive city). Loved the summer rolls and the Mongolian beef. Not very good desserts.

Best oriental food in Quito, we enjoyed each dish. I highly recommend. The soup is giant and people very kind.

Zao is a good and reliable option if you'd like to try some Thai and asian-oriented food in Quito. The ambiance is quite cool and the decor of the place is very elegant. It's a good option for adults (either for business or personal meetings). Appetizers are maybe the best dishes in the menu. Not to miss their dumplings.
