This is primarily a place for coffee but also serves food. We went here for Ecuadorian food but that was close to our hotel. I had red snapper stuffed with ham and a sauce topped with shrimp. Also had hot chocolate with Baileys. My husband had the lamb stew which he enjoyed. Prices were reasonably and nice sized. Nicely decorated.

Used this place for lunch, has good mix of local and more European food. Food was good though not easy to know always what you were getting nor portion sizes. Wraps were large but local dishes smaller but substantial due to corn and potato ingredients. Locals eating there - always a good sign.

I was there 2 months ago. It's a cozy place to have nice food , I think the prices were reasonable. I loved their fruit tea. :)

We're looking for somewhere to have lunch when we spotted this great place. They have fantastic cheese empanadas! I then had a salad which was average but my husband had mixed fish grill which was really good. Our friend had a beef pita sandwich, which she said was really tasty. We all three had the best fresh juice of blackberry... More

Ethnic Coffee is in the heart of the Mariscal district on Amazonas near Robles (close to the Hilton Hotel). They serve excellent coffees and delicious and creative lunches including a daily menu for a very reasonable price.

On Amazonas, near the artesanal market, is a charming well appointed restaurant. From the tranquility of their outdoor patio you can watch the hectic pace of Quito. Enjoy their fine freshly ground coffees, or varied tea selection along with an ethnic snack, ( humitas, tomales) pastry or cheescake. Ethnic music, good service and ambience. It is closed on Sundays.

My wife and I came here twice during our stay in Quito. Service was excellent and the food and coffee were very good. It is an easy walk from the Hilton but is closed on Sunday.

In the middle of bustling Quito, a nice place to stop for a coffee and have some "humitas" for those who like it. The space is very nice, we'll decorated and free wi-fi with reasonable speed
