The seafood risotto was incredible, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive to our every need, and we had a lovely evening.

Had a our last meal after two weeks in Ecuador at Zazu. The service was attentive and very helpful but the thing that really stood out was the food. The dishes were well presented and absolutely delicious. It's not cheap but well worth a visit.

For our first night in Quito (Valentine's Day) we decided to try Zazu. The al a carte menu was very interesting offering a variety of dishes (as well as prix fixe menus). The staff was extraordinarily knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the food preparations. The focus is on local ingredients and dishes but with a fine chef's interest in "stepping... More

My wife an I ate dinner at Zazu while we were in Quito. We chose this restaurant because of its reviews on Trip Advisor and also because the hotel we were staying at recommended it, What a winner! This is an outstanding Peruvian restaurant with an international theme. The restaurant is upscale without being outrageously pricey. It has a lovely,... More

My boyfriend and I went to Zazu on our trip to Quito. Their website was down when we tried to make a reservation for dinner so we went in person to check out the place and put in our name for a few days later. We were so happy we did! The waitstaff was extremely professional and helpful with making... More

We were a party of 5 adults celecrating a birthday. The drinks were good, entrees and apetizers sublime, dessert was interesting but not as mind blowing as everything else.

This is everything you'd expect in a top quality restaurant. The building and interior decor are lovely. Service is attentive and unobtrusive. The prices seemed quite reasonable. For example, the full tasting menu is $70, and the 5-course tasting menu is $50. We ordered ala carte as we didn't all want the sea-food heavy appetizers. There, the menu is quite... More

My partner and I dined here for our first next get in Quito and what a delightful experience it was. From the understated and elegant decor, to the attentive service of exceptional staff- we have absolutely zero complaints! An abundance of complimentary breads, the ceviche was the highlight with its smooth creamy and tangy dressing, along with the Galapagos fish... More

As our first dinner in Ecuador, this was a real treat. We had the 7 course tasting menu with a very creative wine pairing. Each dish was original and beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the stone crab and the "deconstructed" guinea pig empanadas. The berry ice cream made table side was a great finish. Our waiter, Javier, was very attentive... More
