This place is in the center of downtown. We had coffee there. Was disappointed with the americano coffee which was cold the cafe latte was OK.

Across the street from Parque cauldron with outside seating. Friendly service and great, inexpensive food.

We got average service, the coffee was not that good, and the food wasn't all that great, typically Ecuadorian flavor, not as american as advertised.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the great singer/entertainer that played during our meal last Friday. We had the set menu, the soup and salad were average, 2 of us had the beef as the main course and it was almost inedible and 2 of us had the shrimp and pasta, the shrimp were well over cooked and hard. However, the desert,... More

The food and service were very good. We were surprised at the high prices and there was a 15% upcharge for using a credit card.

Located at the back corner of Parque Calderon on the way to the flower market (don't miss it), kind of tucked away, we found good food and service here at lunch. Not spectacular by any means but very decent and a reasonable value. The traffic here is quite heavy so we preferred to eat inside, away from the exhaust.

I went here for dinner and lunch and it was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The lunchtime menu was $4 which included a juice, a soup starter and then about four choices for mains which were delicious and then to top it off you get a small desert to finish off! I kept returning because it was... More

I had dinner here twice. My companions and I really enjoyed all of our food. Prices are very good, considering the wonderful location, overlooking the main plaza. They have several daily specials as well to choose from. My only criticism would be that the restaurant itself could be a bit cleaner, especially the ladies' room.

this place can be a little pricy for dinner or a la carte but the lunch special is fantastic and comes at a great price. A soup, a main course and a small dessert for 4 dollars is among the best values in the city. You'll meet other expats and locals. Most fo the staff is very friendly.
