Oh my God.... amazing dinner here, we had pork for main dish and creme brulee with mazamorra for desset... the word delicious does not make it justice... I went there for a business meeting and it was way better than I expected: food, service, ambience, everything you are looking for on a chilli night. Bit pricey but oh so worth... More

We tried a few different dishes all very good except for the cheviche which was not special. The portions are large, and the dessert list is extensive. The restaurant is placed in different areas one such as an open court. The kitchen is open and visible. The only point to improve are the bathrooms, not clean and some not even... More

Super Nice Rest. The tour guide recommend it and he was right. They served us a basket of different breads and they were really good. We started with the "Tequeños de Lomo" - nice flavor. We ordered a typical plate called Rocoto Relleno (spicy) and it was delicious. The chicha rice (a little bit undercook :-( ) was very tasteful... More

Our family tried 4 different traditional meals to share and it was all superb. Great service, nice atmosphere , food delicious and lovely presented. On average, we spent around 30 soles for a traditional main course which is on the more expensive side for Peru. However, where else can you enjoy a 5 * restaurant to budget prices internationally seen... More

My wife & myself ate at Chica's restaurant and had somewhat different experiences. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with open cooking stations at the far side. I had the pork belly which was simply superb- crisp skin with moist, succulent meat.My wife had the grilled trout combo which was over cooked & dry. It seems you could have a... More

Even though I have visited other Gaston Acurio restaurants this time the typical and traditional food was an experience itself. Simply delicious. I went there with my peruvian boyfriend and even him was more than satisfy and delightful with the flavors. We had a Tallarin Carretillero, tradicion arequipeña and the Anticucho. For me was one of the most delicious dishes.... More

It was a little expensive but worth it! The owner/chef is one of the best in all of Peru. The service was good, a little slow on small requests but the food was served all at the same time which is difficult in Peru!

Chicha succeeded my expectations! Food was tasty, the staff friendly and accommodating. They have unique and innovative dishes that are worth trying. Our meal started with some delicious breads, but the Chicha bread was the best! I ordered the Tequenos of Lomo Saltado that were amazing, and ended the meal with a Rocotito Relleno for dessert! The meal turned into... More

Very nice place to go out for a fancy dinner! Pretty pricy, especially for Peru standards but its for sure worth it. The staff is very nice and friendly, the meals are super tasty!

Chicha by Gaston Acurio, Peru's premiere chef, is a great restaurant in Arequipa. It showcases cuisine as done in Arequipa. The bread - especially the quinoa bread sticks were awesome. Ocopa was our potato appetizer - it is a large plate of potatoes with sauce - Arequipan style - based in peanuts. I had the pato - duck, which was... More
