While shopping for last minute gifts, a local storekeeper recommended the "best local cuy" or the "best in the area". This was our first time trying it so we took her recommendation. We arrived about an hour before closing and ordered the cuy. The staff were ok, not overly welcoming, but definitely not mean or rude. They served us fresh... More

This was our last meal in Cusco and was delightful. We shared the avocado with potato salad and the chicken aji de Gallina. As a child, I would only eat my grandmother's potato salad. Well, she must have visited here, because it tasted like home. The chicken and rice were perfectly cooked. Our beers were, at first, not very cold,... More

My wife and I, with a small baby and toddler in tow, stumbled upon it by chance as it seemed a cheaper option than those directly on the main square, yet seemed to be reasonably popular. The food was average, particularly for Peru, but still ok. The staff couldn't raise a smile between them and made us feel like we... More

Some friends recommended this restaurant to us, so we went. The environment is good and the location is great, on one of the corners in front of the Main Square. We asked for Lomo Saltado and, even though we gave instructions on some details this Peruvian dish should have, it was not really good. Our drink was fine.

Great food near Cusco Plaza de Armas. We stumbled upon this place while looking for a restaurant to have lunch. It was not very busy as we were dining at an off peak time. We initially chose this place for the daily special looked delicious and cheap, but once we got there we decided to order A La Carte. Had... More

Went based on a trip advisor travel guide. Though it may be an "institution" of sorts, the food was a tad disappointing. Bland and overcooked, nothing to write home about. We had the Peruvian tasting plate- with Cuy and alpaca. Not great intros to either. Quinoa soup was tasty, but we had better on our trek, made on a campsite,... More

We popped in off the street after not finding the restaurant we had picked out from our guidebook, and were happily surprised by the nice ambiance, good food and pleasant servers.

I had eaten here ten years ago and it's gotten better. The menu (3 courses) is fantastic for lunch and a bargain. The staff is friendly and the Japanese chef provides smaller portions than other places (less rice and potatoes) but flavorable. Love it.

I came here twice in the three days I was in cusco. The staff is friendly the food is great and so are the drinks. They have complimentary wifi and while I didn't indulge in the desserts they looked amazing. Great location right on Plaza de Armas.
