Very simple restaurant, classic fried pork dish and also delicious hot adobo pork soup. You just cram on to tables upstairs with all the locals and the food arrives in under a minute. This street seems to be full of authentic restaurants that the tourists miss. We had a great bowl of pickly adobo and some outstanding chicharrones here. Very authentic and really tasty. A great stop between San Domingo and the plaza!

We stumbled by this place around lunch time and decided to go in because the food smelled good and there weren't any other tourists (I'm surprised there was already a trip advisor page for it). One of several 'chichonerias' that all serve fried pork and pork rinds and all set along the same street. Short on ambience, but inexpensive and authentically Peruvian making ot worth a try if you want to avoid Gringolandia.
