I recently had diner in this restaurant with my family and was just great! The pricing is good, the food and staff are lovely. Nice wines as well. We needed a reservation to eat here, maybe good tip.

Went with a group of 6 tonight, and had a nice time. Food in Cusco is very good, and this is no exception. I ordered a Piscu Sour as a Paratif (one of Peru's specialities for drinks!) and a few of my friends ordered some appetizers - fried mashed potatoes and Mango Civiche - both were very good. For an... Uchu is a popular upscale restaurant in Cusco with a very nice menu. The alpaca Steak and the roasted peanut mashed potatoes were unbelievably delicious. The ice cream sampler with 5 different exotic fruits was quite yummy also. The service is good and the prices are reasonable for North American standards. Reservations are suggested but if you get there early... More

The meal that we enjoyed at Uchu was one of our best in Peru. The food is cooked to perfection, beautifully flavoured, and the portions are generous. I would recommend the Alpaca steaks, and Ceviche. Both were exquisite.

My husband and I ate here for our first night in Cusco. We arrived early (5pm) which meant we were able to get a seat without a booking. The restaurant did fill up very quickly from 6pm onwards. The waiter was wonderful, and provided us with delicious complimentary sweetened balsamic olives while we waited for our food. We shared the... More

Excellent meal at this restaurant with my wife and 2 kids. Had seen previous reviews on trip advisor and Uchu lived up to the reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful. We all went for the volcanic rock and loved it as well as the fantastic desserts.

This was my favorite restaurant in Cusco. When we couldn't get in to our first choice I decided to ask the concierge at the hotel. He highly recommended this Peruvian Steakhouse. Since it wasn't on my radar, I also googled it and found consistently high reviews. So we decided to try it. We were not sorry. Everything we had was... More

This restaurant is a bit more upscale and offers menu items you won't find elsewhere all served with flourish. Each dish provided a lot of food, so you won't leave hungry from Uchu. The presentation was as delicious as the food. Overall, we're glad we found this place and would return.

Delicious and unique! The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic.you get to cook your own food on volcanic rock. They bring the meat out partially cooked so it's safe. So great!

2 guys from California and Oregon doing a Colombia/Peru trip. Let me say that this was the best meal of the trip. I'm sad it was on our very last night or we would have certainly come back. Highlights: - Atmosphere feels like a rustic, high-end restaurant you might find high in the Rocky Mountains - Service was very prompt... More

Uchu's kitchen is inspired by classic Peruvian recipes touched with contemporary sophistication. We also play with new ingredients taking new flavors and creating unequable experiences for the palate. Carved wooden bases, volcanic stones prepared at high temperatures, an ample selection of surf and turf ítems from which to choose, native aji creams and aromatic herbs allow us to provide a unique dining experience for all. Located in a colonial home in the center of Cusco, exposed adobe walls, clay, aged wood, avant garde textiles, candles and crystals create an eclectic ambience in which to enjoy your experience.
