We had grilled trout which was very fresh and tasty. This place is very interesting as its huge and full of locals. They put on traditional performances which are very unique and fun to watch as the audience gets involved

We had lunch at this restaurant, which had the best trout my husband said he has ever eaten. I opted for the mushroom soup (seasonal), which was delicious and came in a huge bowl. We also sampled the guinea pig, a Peruvian favorite. It tasted a lot like chicken (no joke). The drinks were excellent. And even on a Monday,... More

Here you are served the best traditional meals of the city, this restaurant is not touristy, the restaurant is more for locals, besides the traditional meals, they present a live show with local music and vailarines with their typical clothes. I recommend you to visit this place the traditional Cusquenita Pikanteria restaurant that is located only 10 minutes from the... More

The two of us shared the stir fried beef for lunch, and it was plenty for two of us. The beef was tender, and it was a well prepared meal at a very reasonable price. Our waiter spoke excellent English, and was very attentive. The entertainers put on a good show.

Good Tasting Peruvian Food, just too much to eat on one seating, not too expensive, and a nice Musical included , ask for the Frutilla Drink.

I went there 3 times because It was near my hotel, so I had lunch and dinner. The dishes were very big and tasty. I once had a chicken soup and then a huge Cuy with lots of vegetables. By night there is a show with typical peruvian dances which is very entertaining. The prices were very good and the... More

We had one full day in Cusco and chose the Cusquenita for lunch. It didn't fail to impress as far as a cultural experience. We ordered 1 plate of cuy and shared it. There was plenty of food! The costumes and dances were a fun treat. The restaurant was filled with locals and tourists all enjoying a mid-day meal. Clean... More

The restaurant was recommended by a local as great traditional food. We went a la Carte vs the buffet. The food was I would it say bad but not to my taste ( which is quite broad and I have enjoyed many Peruvian dishes) there was however a band and dance show we didn't expect. We enjoyed this unexpected show... More
