The place is cosy, but the food is really average. We had lunch (paellas with seafood, another one with veggies) and there was nothing special about it.

The small, inexpensive restaurant is a short walk uphill from Plaza de Armas. The staff may be overwhelmed when the place is overcrowded, but they try hard and are vey friendly. The menu offers several paellas, all variations of meats and vegetables cooked with ordinary rice.

Seafood paella is a must try... Servings will definitely fill you up... Service is very good & kind... Prices (28 soles) are great as it already includes bread, a choice of juices, dessert or pisco sour... Small homey feel...

This place is located on the backstreet of Plaza de Armas. If you face the McDonald's and KFC building, this is a little alley to the left of that building that will lead you to this gem. Every table gets a big platter of bread with 3 homemade sauces (yellow chili, red tomato and white) to start. We ordered the... More

Maybe they've gone down hill recently, but we went only because of the high tripadvisor rating. We had four items from their fixed menu, which, by the way, was an entree with bread appetizer and a drink. My paella was not really paella. It was rice cooked with peppers and some seafood added in after it was cooked. The flavors... More

It was just fine, nothing special, and certainly nothing like all the previous reviews! The food was bland, and the bathroom was dirty. We wouldn't return or recommend.
