A fun way to spend a night in Iquitos. Board a free boat and be transported to a floating restaurant in the middle of the amazon. We ate outside around the pool and gazed back at the lights of Iquitos. Delicious cocktails followed by a delicate fish fillet with tomatoes and onions cooked in a banana leaf. It was excellent.... Frio y Fuego gets points for ambiance, starting with the nicely appointed and romantically lit hallway leading from the street to the embarkation pier. The night time, quiet boat ride to the floating restaurant is likewise pleasant, as is the establishment itself with views back across the river to the lights of Iquitos. My meal was a disappointment, however. I... More

It is worth going to this restaurant at night just for the free boat ride with a view of the city lights and the stars. We went out during a thunder storm which added even more to the atmosphere. This place is an amazing floating raft on the Amazon built in typical Iquitos style with a thatch roof and wooden... More

Not worth going for diner ( not that good) but really nice going for drinks and appetizers and sunset. The cebiche was good but the rest was not very really terrible considering the price. The service really was awful. After 10 minutes sitting in a table (that a waiter had placed us at) we had to go ask the 5... More

We had dinner here whilst we were staying in Iquitos. It is a floating restaurant / day resort (I’m saying that, there’s a pool with loungers and a bar so I assume you can go and make a day of it??) They have a little boat which takes you out there. They have a ‘reception’ at Av. La Marina 138,... More

Food way bellow average in Peru. Poor service. Doubtful cleanliness (e.g. bathrooms). Not worth it. It has a swimming pool and it is in the middle of the river (floating restaurant).

this place is on the middle of a river so you have to take a boat! it's a nice place with a pool in the middle, the food was nice but a little expensive and the service wasn't fast enough to bring our food and the bill.

Absolutely stunned by the incredible atmosphere of this restaurant! I would definitely recommend visiting at night rather than during the day. A boat takes you to this restaurant which is literally floating in the middle of the water - nothing else in sight (could have been because it was dark but it felt like we were the only ones out... Seriously, this place is a MUST in Iquitos. Unique in its type, it is a beautiful restaurant that floats in the middle of the Amazon river, it has a two floors and a bar area with a pool. People usually spend the day there, they even make pool parties on the weekends sometimes with a live dj. Unique sight, perfect... More
