Compared to La Mar, the more up market ceviche place we went to, while the menu was more limited the food was tasty substantial and better value. It had a relaxed atmosphere and less 'exclusive' clientele. Well worth a visit at lunchtime.

This place looks old. It transpire tradition. Locals having a beer and reading the news. Love it! I had a great pork sandwich of chicha morada. Highly recommended. A little far from downtown. Close to the museum of history and archeology at the district of Pueblo Libre

I visited this place because it was recommended to visit for Pisco Sours. It was a little hard to find but me and the taxi driver finally did. They were right. The bar is rather large with 2 or 3 various seating areas. There is a room with TV's where people will watch soccer games. I ordered a Pisco Sour... More

I always look for a typical old world type bar to get a flavour of whatever country I am visiting, and for sure you will enjoy this old cantina type bar, large beers are a must or of course watch how the locals drink the native pisco..well worth the trip to Pueblo Libra

We stopped into this historic bodega after visiting the nearby Museo Nacional de Arqueology y Antropologia in Pueblo Libre. The place is fairly big with a couple of smaller rooms adjoining a large dining hall. It was nearly full and most of the diners were locals. This is a great place to enjoy traditional Peruvian dishes at reasonable prices. It... More

We were the only foreigners in the place. Very authentic. Our waiter was a very funny older gentleman who told us witty jokes and kept us entertained. Great fried yuca snack!

I just stopped at the place on my way to church and had some tea and jam sandwich. The portions are big and the flavor was really good! I highly recommend this place .

This is a great place to enjoy great drinks and also local super traditional great food. Once you step in, the restaurant old fashion style and decoration take you in a fun time travel back to the days when cash registers were as big as small refrigerator, full metal, operated by a crank type of lever; artistic old black and...
